These days we tend only to strive to develop excellence, meaning we only do things with our mind, without philosophy. In this way our development is unbalanced because the social and emotional side is too weak. We don’t feel fulfilled due to a lack of participation and interaction with others and the support of a proper social circle.

Despite being full of great possibilities our lives are limited because we live in fear, unable to control our thoughts and emotions. We believe we will not be able to overcome rejection. We are afraid of being honest with ourselves and those around us. The only way to be truly free is by being true to ourselves and to others. In that way we can have a full and vibrant life.

If we don’t fully participate in life we develop cynicism and resignation. In order to avoid this we need to understand the roots of our thoughts and emotions and deal with issues as and when they arise, not just when they become a problem. Only in this way can we be truly happy.

In this Spiritual Retreat, Swami Purohit will offer us advice, teachings and practical tools regarding:

• Development of the mind: Intellectual integrity and respect are key to being true to ourselves.
• Emotional intelligence: Developing this capacity will help us to understand our feelings and needs and those of others.

The retreat will start on August 3rd at 6pm and finish on August 8th after lunch. It will take place in the calm beauty of Casa Yoga centre by the beach at Maro. The centre has a beautiful garden and a huge yurt (tent) where we can do activities in the shade during the hotter parts of the day. Casa Yoga is only 5 minutes walk from the secluded Maro Bay where we can swim, walk and practice yoga and meditation by the sea at sundown.

We can offer 2 types of accommodation: in a comfortable village house just 5 minutes walk from Casa Yoga, or camping in the gardens at Casa Yoga or sleeping bags in the yurt. (Own tents and sleeping bags required).

5 day Retreat: shared accommodation in village house: 300€
5 day Retreat: camping in the gardens of Casa Yoga: 250€

The price includes accommodation, vegetarian food and all activities.

“THE SCIENCE OF THE MANTRA -
Going beyond logical thinking and behaviour.”

The Mantra is a syllable charged with spiritual energy. A Mantra creates a unique spiritual vibration that produces a level of complete concentration. All unconscious behaviour patterns become visible and offer a profound sensation of hope that eases the path towards Self management. The Mantra opens up our intuitive capacity and can be used to transfer human will into action. A Mantra can be used to improve any aspect of life.

This 4 day retreat takes place in the Alhama de Murcia Ashram, a beautiful place located on the side of the Sierra de Carrascoy hills and only 15 minutes from the centre of Murcia. The Ashram has gardens, a swimming pool, a soundproofed, air conditioned meditation room, and dormitories with bunk beds. The accommodation is on a full board basis. This retreat is an intensive experience, a chance to immerse oneself in the world of spirituality and Mantras guided by the master Swamiji.

The retreat begins at 6pm on Wednesday 22nd September and ends on Sunday 26th alter lunch.
